Tips For Safe Propane Use!

- Campers use propane appliances when they're camping and when if it rains they tend to bring their propane stoves or lanterns inside their tents for illumination and warmth. Always remember that portable propane camping equipment is for outdoor use ONLY, !

- For safty sake inside the tent, use only battery-powered lanterns or flash lights. Never use liquid fueled heaters or lanterns inside a tent or any other enclosed space. This is not only a fire hazard, but a carbon monoxide hazard as well.

- Propane stoves are designed for cooking only and should never be used to heat your tent, camper or RV.

- Never use portable appliances such as lanterns and barbecues in enclosed spaces such as tents, recreational vehicles, orcampers.

- Never use portable gas heaters when sleeping in a tent, camper or RV.

- Store refillable propane cylinders outdoors and make sure they are properly capped, plugged or sealed.

- Ensure your propane appliances are in good working order before heading out to your camp site.

- When transporting propane tanks, the proper way is to secure them in an upright position and in an area with lots of ventilation.

- Follow the instructions on portable propane tanks when disposing of them.

- Use common sense, always.
